ADiS-2013 - International Workshop on Autonomic Distributed Systems

Held in conjunction with CISIS 2013 Conference, July 3th-July 5th, 2013,
Taichung, Taiwan

Dear Coleague,

I have the pleasure to invite you to ADiS 2013 Workshop. Below are the
necessary information for workshop participation.

-----------------------------

Workshop Description

-----------------------------

ADiS workshop is dedicated to dissemination and evaluation of current
advance solutions for autonomic computing in Large Scale Distributed
Systems (LSDS).

Autonomic Computing is based on the self-management capability of LSDS,
more specific on the self-configuration, self-healing, self-optimization,
and self-protection properties. In LSDS, one of the most important aspects
is the dependability, which means to increase the reliability,
availability, safety and security of the system. The models used in the
development of systems with such capabilities combine monitoring,
scheduling, data management, security, and fault tolerance. This is a
challenge of today research, due to the strong requirements imposed by the
dynamic behavior of the user and resource communities. Autonomic computing
represent also a greatest challenge faced by the IT industry: conquering
the growing complexity of large-scale systems.

The purpose of the workshop is to provide an open forum for researchers
from academia and other research community to present, discusses, and
exchange related ideas, results, and experiences in this area. The workshop
also aims at stimulating synergies between these new approaches, autonomic
computing for LSDS and self-organizing distributed systems, and the
traditional models in this domain.

------------------------------

Submit a full paper not more than six pages (IEEE Conference proceedings
manuscripts: two column, single-spaced), including figures and references,
using 10 font size, and number each page. You can find instructions for
authors, at the following web page:
http://www.computer.org/portal/site/cscps/

Authors should prepare their papers in PDF format and submit to the CISIS
online submission system at: http://edas.info/N13277 (Choose ADiS-2013)

Accepted papers will be given guidelines in preparing and submitting the
final manuscript(s) together with the notification of acceptance. Accepted
papers will be published by the IEEE Conference Publishing Services (CPS)
and indexed/archived in the Digital Library and DBLP. Papers presented at
ADiS will be considered for publication in a special issue of international
journal.

If there is any problem during submission please contact the Workshop
Chairs. Accepted papers will be given guidelines in preparing and
submitting the final manuscript(s) together with the notification of
acceptance. Proceedings of the Workshops will be published by IEEE Computer
Society Press.
