Reasons to submit: where your paper will be published

The IET guarantees that accepted conference papers will be Published in the IET Digital Library and IEEE Xplore Indexed in IET Inspec and EI Published in the official conference proceedings. The IET may also, with the permission of the author, film the presentation for publication on IET.tv. The IET is also offering authors of conference papers an additional route to publication. The IET Wireless Sensor Systems Journal is an international, peer-reviewed journal.

Authors of very high quality papers may be contacted to, or may submit for consideration, a suitably expanded version of their conference material for consideration as a full paper in the IET Wireless Sensor Systems Journal. Depending on the quantity and quality of the papers received, the journal may decide to publish any papers that are accepted for publication as a dedicated special issue. Please note that all contributions to the IET Wireless Sensor Systems Journal will be subject to the rigorous peer-review process associated with a world-class academic journal.

Submission Process
------------------
Authors wishing to submit papers and present at WSS2012 are required to submit an abstract for consideration by the WSS2012 technical programme committee. Following the review of extended summary's, successful authors will be invited to submit a full paper for a second review by the committee. Successful authors will then be invited to attend and present their work at WSS2012.

Writing an extended summary
---------------------------
Extended summary must be submitted by Wednesday, 30 November 2011 if they are to be considered for the conference. Use of the WSS2012 extended summary template is mandatory, and only extended summary's following the instructions provided below will be considered. It is vital that delegates pay close attention to the instructions. Submissions that do not follow the guidelines may be returned to the author or not considered for acceptance to the conference.

Submitting an extended summary
------------------------------
Before submission, make sure that the following material is ready:

Title, all authors’ names, affiliations and a 35 word (approx) biography. If your title and abstract contains no special characters, and no sub or sup scripts, the text can be copied and pasted from your Word document or typed in directly, Your extended summary of no more than two A4 pages, including title, names, affiliations and extended summary in word format (file size maximum 2.0 MB - Megabyte). Preferred topic area chosen from the Conference Scope (the Technical Programme Committee reserves the right to change the authors' choice of topic area)

Once you have the material and information listed above, you can proceed with the electronic submission of your paper. The on-line submission for extended summary will be open until Wednesday, 30 November 2011. If you have difficulties in submitting your extended summary, please try to shorten its file-name.

Important information
---------------------
The working language of the conference is English, which will be used for all printed material, presentations and discussion. The extended summary template is a Microsoft Word file. Please save this template file to your PC’s hard drive and use it when you prepare your extended summary. If you are submitting more than one extended summary you can use the same email address and password for each extended summary. Extended summary's are required for all submissions. Extended summary's MUST be submitted using the template form provided (see web page).

After submission
----------------
On submission of your extended summary the corresponding author will receive a confirmation of the receipt of the extended summary. Your extended summary will then be presented to the technical programme committee for consideration. Following review, you will be informed if you are being invited to submit a full paper to the conference.

Processing and publication of personal data
