It is our pleasure to announce that the extended version of all the
presented papers in SQ 2011 will be invited to publish in several

(special issue of this journal is approved for SQ 2011)

Following the success of SQ  2009 in ISCIS 2009 ( in Middle East Technical
University North Cyprus Campus, Cyprus,) the Second International 
Workshop on “Software Quality SQ” (SQ 2011) will be held  in conjunction
with The 2011 International Conference on Computational Science and
Applications (ICCSA 2011) during June 20-23, 2011, at University of
Catabria, Santander, Spain.

About The Workshop and Topics

This workshop extends discussion of software quality issues in the modern
software development processes.  It covers all the aspects of process and
product quality, quality assurance and standards, quality planning,
quality control and software quality challenges. It also covers the
frontier issues and trends for achieving the quality objectives. It
includes quality management process, role of software metrics, predictor
metrics and control metrics, role of measurement in accessing the quality
and limitations.
Topics include (related to quality issues) but not limited to:

3. Software requirements techniques,
4. Software testing & QA fundamentals,
5. Software testing models and approaches,

SQ: 2011 invites you to submit your work that describes original and
significant contribution in all above mentioned area of software
engineering processes. The paper submitted to SQ’2011 must not be
submitted elsewhere either in conference or journal. Papers selected after
peer review will be included in the conference proceedings and presented
orally at the conference.

Publication

 All contributions will be peer reviewed and will be judged on their
quality and relevance. The accepted papers for SQ 2011 will be published
in Proceedings of ICCSA by Springer in Lecture Notes in Computer Science.
 Please note that one of the author’s of the accepted paper must register
for the conference and should present the paper in conference. The
extended and modified version of accepted paper will also be invited for
the publication in a reputed International Journal. We got the approval
for a special issue for SQ 2011, from a SCIE indexed journal. In
remaining papers,  Up to two papers from Spanish speaking authors will be
published as extended version in REICIS (www.ati.es/reicis, the unique
journal in Spanish on Software Quality and Engineering in Spanish,
indexed in Latindex, Redalyc, ICYT, DOAJ, e-revistas, Ulrich, etc.) and
others will be invited to publish their paper in another international
journal.

* Notification of acceptance: March 2, 2011
* Camera ready and registration due: April 4, 2011.
* Workshop date: 1 day between 20-23 June , 2011(Exact day will be
announced later)
