Postgraduate Research Studentships in Computer Science & Robotics/Telecoms
King's College London - Department of Informatics

The new School of Natural and Mathematical Sciences, King’s College London, is offering two postgraduate research studentships in the new Department of Informatics. This department will bring together research groups from the current Department of Computer Science in Agents & Intelligent Systems, Bioinformatics & Algorithm Design, and (subject to final confirmation) Software Modelling & Applied Logic, and research groups from the Division of Engineering in Robotics and Telecommunications. Accordingly, expressions of interest are invited from potential PhD students who wish to focus on research topics in an area of intersection between Computer Science and Robotics, or between Computer Science and Telecommunications. Persons interested in applying should submit their CV, together with an outline of their proposed research project, to the Head of Department of Informatics, Professor Andrew J I Jones (andrewji.jones at kcl.ac.uk), by 11 June 2010.

The studentships include tuition fees plus stipend, and are open to UK and EU citizens who have been resident in the UK for the last 3 years, in line with Research Council requirements.
