The Department of Computer Science is seeking applications from candidates with an excellent research track record for at least three lecturer positions. It is anticipated that the successful applicants will contribute to research and teaching in the areas of software engineering and multi-agent systems. Applications from outstanding researchers in other areas of Computer Science will also be considered, if they can contribute significantly to the development of the new Department of Informatics, in which the Department of Computer Science is being incorporated.

Applicants for lectureships must have a PhD, an excellent publication record, and the ability to attract research funding. Appointment at the level of Senior Lecturer will be possible for suitably qualified candidates. All applicants must have the enthusiasm and commitment required to enhance the research standing of the new department, and to make a full contribution to teaching and administrative activities.
