Kansas State University Department of Computing and Information Sciences is happy to announce a new PhD Fellowship Program for Fall 2010.

The PhD Fellowship Program is designed to support several newly admitted PhD students. Fellowships include a stipend of $24,000 per year plus full tuition support, for at least two years. 

PhD Fellows will be selected based on demonstrated academic achievements and exceptional promise for successful research careers in computing and information sciences. Fellowships will include both teaching and/or research duties in areas selected by the candidates at the time of application. Applicants interested in agent-oriented software engineering, agent-based sensor networks, bioinformatics, cooperative robotics, distributed algorithms & systems, machine learning and data mining, and organization-based multiagent systems are encouraged to apply.

The application deadline is January 1st, and early applications are encouraged.

Both US and international PhD applicants are eligible for the PhD Fellowships. Under-represented groups, including women and minorities, are strongly encouraged to apply.
