The profile:

The aim of this position is to contribute to the education and the research
program of the Designed Intelligence (DI) group. Therefore the candidate
must have a PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied
Mathematics, or related disciplines focusing on correlated data gathering in
sensor networks, network theory, information theory, algorithmic complexity,
digital signal processing, and/or biomedical signal processing. Candidate's
should have a track record of publications in top conferences and journals.
He/she should not only have theoretical expertise but should also be open
and interested in building systems in an industrial design environment.
Strong programming skills (e.g. C or C ++) are required. Dutch language
skills are not required, English is obligatory.

Labour conditions:

We offer a full time, challenging position in a new and rapidly growing
Department of Industrial Design. We offer a salary with a minimum of € 3,129
a maximum of € 4,868 gross per month (salary scales 11 and 12, CAO NU (Dutch
Universities)) on a full-time basis and related to relevant experience and
knowledge, plus 8% holiday allowance and 6,4% end of the year allowance.
Attractive secondary labor conditions (good sport facilities, child care,
etc.).
