WORKSHOP - CALL FOR PAPERS
SEMANTIC WEB HEALTH CARE AND LIFE SCIENCES
####################################################################
2008 Asian Semantic Web Conference
December 8-11, 2008, Bangkok, Thailand
http://bike.snu.ac.kr/aswc-hcls/
Both Medicine and Healthcare are areas undergoing phenomenal growth,
holding much promise for our future provided we can manage and apply
the new knowledge gained without driving up costs.
As one of the key technologies to their success, many organizations
are now exploring the use of Semantic Web technologies
in the hope of easing the effort of heterogeneous data integration and
reuse of data in unanticipated ways,
simplifying the annotation and sharing of findings, expressing rich
and well-defined models for search,
and facilitating the implementation of logic to infer additional insights.
