On 5-6 June 2008, the Institute for Logic, Language and Computation
(ILLC) at the University of Amsterdam will host the 3rd MARA
Get-Together, an informal workshop on Multiagent Resource Allocation.
The meeting is aimed at bringing together researchers working on
different aspects of MARA, such as languages for modelling agent
preferences; the study of algorithms for resource allocation (including
combinatorial auctions and distributed negotiation schemes); complexity
issues; simulation and experiments; and connections to work in social
choice theory and fair division. A preliminary programme, consisting of
invited talks and tutorials as well as a systems session, is available
at the workshop website.

The workshop is supported by the European COST Action IC0602 on
Algorithmic Decision Theory and continues the tradition of the AgentLink
Technical Forum Group on Multiagent Resource Allocation (TFG-MARA).

There is no registration fee and everyone is welcome to attend (space
permitting). If you wish to participate, please register by 28 May 2008
by sending an email to Ulle Endriss (ulle at illc.uva.nl). Participants are
welcome to contribute a short talk (in the order of 5 minutes) during
the "rump session".
